Our First Week in LBSY
Miss Yates, Miss Hateley and Mrs Bridgewater have been really impressed at how quickly the class have settled in including the new children.
Well done everyone!
We had a great week revising numbers, sounds and 2D shapes . We also went on a walk looking for signs of Autumn which was great fun.
The Reading Bear and Listening Butterfly will begin on 16th September so don’t forget to read every day in order to collect your reading tokens and well as using your good listening skills.
We are reading ‘The Far Away Tree’ by Enid Blyton every day in school which we are all looking forward to listening to.
Our First Week in Year Three!
Wow! What a great week! We have been exploring our new classrooms and learning all about how grown up we need to be in KS2. We have discovered many Ancient Egyptian replicas and we have been investigating what magnets can do!
What a super start !
It’s wonderful to see everyone back in school full of energy and enthusiasm for their learning. We have been reminding ourselves of our three school rules this week in assembly.
Follow instructions
Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself
Use positive language and actions
We understand that if we all follow these simple rules everyone will be safe and happy in our brilliant school. I look forward to seeing you all around school and giving out lots of golden headteacher stickers for excellent behaviour, manners and super effort in your learning.
A super start everyone, well done.
Miss Salisbury
Welcome back !
We look forward to welcoming everyone back to Lickey Hills Primary and Nursery School from Monday 5th September.
Welcome to Reception
We have really enjoyed meeting you all during our induction process and look forward to an exciting year ahead.
This half term we will be focusing on exploring our new Reception setting, getting to know each other and making lots of new friends. This fits in nicely with our first topic ‘Magical Me!’and we are looking forward to finding out all about our interests.
Please keep checking our blogs for an ongoing update to all the exciting things we have been getting up to.
