Children in Need, 2019

What a wonderful day of  friendship, charity, enjoyment and celebration!

Lickey Hills Primary School welcomed Children in Need, 2019, with enthusiasm and a wonderful sense of thinking and giving to others.

Both staff and pupils wore something yellow as part of their uniform and focused their learning on topics linked to Pudsey Bear such as: Pudsey Poems, Pudsey Maths Problems, Pudsey colouring, Pudsey cake decorating and dances for Pudsey..

An extremely successful cake sale was held at break time and a variety of games were created for use during lunch time on both the KS 1 and KS 2 playgrounds. These were organised and led by our very responsible and professional Yr. 5 and Yr. 6 Sports Leaders. Pupils gave a donation to have a go at the activities which included: a penalty shoot out, Pudsey Ping Pong, Pudsey Puddles, Pin the bandana on Pudsey and Pudsey Races.

Using our copper coins only, we even managed to cover Pudsey with coppers. Brilliant!

The final total of money raised has yet to be confirmed. We will inform you as soon as Mrs Bowen has concluded how generous our wonderful young people have been.

Thank you pupils and parents/guardians for all your support. Every donation will be appreciated to those less fortunate than ourselves in various different ways.
