Perseverance in Maths
Our current focus value, perseverance, was put to the test today as we were challenged to solve a series of mathematical problems in order to escape the castle. Each step provided a completely different challenge and had to be solved in order to start the next.
Did we give up? No we didn’t!
Alien Snakes and Ladders
In reading today we practiced reading alien words using snakes and ladders. In pairs we each took it in turns to roll the dice and read the word we landed on. Test us reading alien words using http://www.phonicsplay.co.uk/ at home!
Estimation
We had such fun in Maths today! We learnt all about estimation and played an estimation game with our friend. One of us put some cubes into a jar and our partner had to estimate how many were in there. We were really good at making sensible estimates!
Habitats
We had a lovely afternoon in the sun today. After learning about habitats we went onto the field to try and build some habitats for the animals that might live there. We worked together in pairs, look how well we did…
Easter Bonnet Parade
The children made some wonderful Easter bonnets for the Easter Bonnet Parade this morning! When we got back the Easter Bunny had delivered us all a chocolate Easter Bunny as a treat.
