We are taking part in a friendly competition involving other schools in England. It's all done online via http://play.ttrockstars.com. Children can play in any game mode with every correct answer to a multiplication and division question earning themselves, their class and their school a point. Times Table Rock Stars will calculate the winning class in our school and the winning school across England. Come on everyone, let's get Lickey Hills on the map!🔢🏆

Year 1 have been using different resources to solve subtraction questions. We have used counters, cubes, tens frames and number lines to find our answers. We are super mathematicians!➖🟰

What a super day we have had today raising awareness of BBC's Children in Need. We have been dressed in Pudsey merchandise, our pyjamas, our fancy dress, we've made Pudsey out of junk modelling and raised lots of money with our cake sale. A great job everyone!🧁💛

Year 3 had a super time at Bishops Wood on Friday! We explored being mesolithic nomads, moving our camps and building new shelters. We also looked at the lives of the neolithic and made a wattle and daub shelter by weaving willow. Finally we used flint to create sparks and start our own fires to keep us warm. It really brought our history topic to life🛖

Reception have been exploring the work of Pollock. We mirrored his technique to create a collaborative firework scene. We used the dripping, flicking and splattering techniques on this piece🎆🎇

Our Nursery children had a fabulous time at their parental engagement session! They loved having their parents in school, having fun and learning alongside them👦🏻🧒🏽

A huge congratulations to our dingle dangle scarecrow competition winners! We had so many beautiful designs but these just stood out to us and are now on display in school. Well done to everyone for taking part!👩🏽‍🌾

Reception have been learning all about our body. They have looked at and discussed the skeleton and have been naming different bones in our body. It's been great fun!🩻💀

It was the last session of gardening club today. We used acrylic pens to make positivity stones. They look beautiful!🌈
