Look at our wonderful clay animals that we made in Reception. We took great care moulding the clay to make a wild animal, before carefully choosing colours to decorate it once it had dried. I wonder if we will spot any of these creatures when we go to Twycross Zoo🐍🦁

What a pleasure it was to have BBC News in school today, sharing the story of our parents' fundraising campaign. With temperatures set to rise again this week, the need for appropriate cooling measures is growing evermore important🪭😅

We would like to say a huge thank you to Worcestershire County Council Public Health Innovation Grant for their generous funding. Thanks to this support we have been able to purchase a natural four space wooden easel, which has encouraged creativity and helped children develop both their fine and gross motor skills. The funding has enabled us to enhance our learning environment with a comfortable sofa for the reading area, a circular loose parts play storage unit and a natural wooden storage and play unit. These resources have made a significant difference to our Nursery and we are very grateful👨🏽‍🎨🛋️

Our Year 6 children have been busy rehearsing and cannot wait to perform 'I am an 11 year old, get me out of here!' for the school, their families and their friends. With not long to go, make sure you have bought your tickets. It's going to be fabulous!🎟️🎤

Special Delivery🚌 As we continue to expand our children's play opportunities through OPAL, we thought an old double decker bus would encourage children to use their imagination, offer brilliant role play opportunities, social spaces and quiet zones for our children at lunch time. We cannot wait to revamp this and get it ready for our children to start using from September🚌

A huge thank you to our lovely PTA team for raising enough funds to buy a whole class set of chromebooks. These chromebooks will support the children's computing sessions, as well as maths activities, research activities and so much more!💻👩🏽‍💻

Despite the intense heat, our Reception children showed great resilience, patience and tolerance. We enjoyed some water time outside and made shelters to protect us from the sun, just like the one Grandad and Sid found in Grandad’s Island. Well done Reception!☀️💦⛺️
