Reception have been learning about Antarctica and have taken a 'trip' to the Antarctic, playing inside their igloo and exploring their base camp🧊❄️

We've made it to the NEC, we've had lunch and we are seated in the arena ready for the rehearsal. We cannot wait to perform for our lovely families this evening. Look out for our multi-coloured flashing lights! 🎶🎤

We had such a lovely morning in Year 1. Our families came to observe our phonics lesson, and we wowed them with how many sounds we know! Thank you for learning with us📝

Year 2 had a brilliant morning of maths alongside their families. They used tens frames, dienes, base 10, place value counters, 100 squares and number lines to tackle a variety of maths problems🔢

Recently Year 2 have explored a range of coins, practised counting in steps of 1p, 2p, 5p and 10p, and used their place‑value knowledge (tens and ones) to add different combinations of coins accurately💷

Origami club launched in Year 1 on Tuesday, and what a fantastic start it was! We began with a simple origami house, which the children loved decorating🏠

We were delighted to welcome our Year 1 families into school for another parent workshop last week. We delved into all things maths and it was so lovely to see our children working alongside their parents, showing them how to use different maths concepts. Thank you to those of you that were able to attend✏️🟰

If you'd like your child to join our Reception cohort from September 2026, you must apply through your LEA by Thursday 15th January. Our children can't wait to make new friends🥰

Our lovely Year 4 children have been busy writing letters to Spain and we have just received our first letters back! Our Spanish penpals have drawn a picture of themselves and have told us some information to get to know them better. How lovely to have a friend from another country!🇪🇸
