Year 5/6 took part in a brilliant workshop all about the Tudors. They got to practise their jousting, look at artefacts and participate in some drama. What a brilliant day!🗡️🪖

Reception have had a great week celebrating Earth Day. They have discussed what a healthy world might look like, drawn pictures of the earth and made models of the earth using various materials🌍🗺️

Reception have been focusing on the artist Leonardo Da Vinci as part of their celebrations for World Art Day. They looked at his portrait of Mona Lisa before drawing portraits of their friends🖼️🧑🏾‍🎨

Year 4 had a wonderful time taking part in a drama workshop led by Ms Boyle, Head of Drama at Waseley Hills. We learned all about the fun drama lessons that take place at Waseley Hills and all about their new drama studio. We then reenacted the story of The Three Little Pigs, reporting on the events of the houses being blown down by the big, bad wolf🐷🎤

Earlier this year Reception entered an art competition and we were selected to have our work published. We were thrilled to receive our books and to see our wonderful artwork in print. Great work, Reception!🎨📒

Our Year 5 children have taken their maths learning outdoors this week. They have enjoyed drawing rectilinear shapes on the playground with chalk and then measuring and calculating the perimeter📏

Our KS1 children have had a super day celebrating Easter today. They've taken part in an easter egg hunt, made easter cards, enjoyed some easter colouring and ended the day with a bonnet parade and easter themed songs!🐣🐥
